12 July 2021, London – Arabesque AI has today announced the appointment of Lloyd Reynolds as its new Head of Business Development, as it scales up its client solutions for customisable, sustainability-driven investing powered by AI technology.
Reynolds has 20 years’ experience working with institutional investors and wealth management clients across European and Asian markets, and brings with him a wealth of expertise in client service, business development, sub-advisory and sustainable investing.
He joins Arabesque AI from Unigestion, where he served as Director of Global Financial Institutions and UK and Asia Wealth, covering UK and global wealth managers. Previously, Reynolds was at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for almost 10 years, serving as a Managing Director and Head of Sub-Advisory Asia with responsibility for all aspects of the sub-advisory business in the region.
The appointment of Lloyd Reynolds comes as Arabesque rolls out new services to meet rapidly increasing demand for sustainability and AI technology solutions across global markets. In April 2021, Arabesque and DWS Group jointly announced the launch of the DWS Concept ESG Arabesque AI Global Equity Fund, an equity fund with a stock selection based on the use of artificial intelligence. The fund is the first joint product between Arabesque and DWS as part of a strategic partnership that combines the fund management expertise of DWS with Arabesque’s AI capabilities.
Speaking on today’s announcement, Lloyd Reynolds said:
“It’s clear from my interactions with clients around the world, that the future of asset management is being driven by client demand for enhanced sustainability and genuine demand for more customised, individually tailored solutions. With Arabesque AI’s ability to generate bespoke strategies very quickly, we have the capability to provide single strategies to asset managers and wealth mangers looking to use the sub-advisory route to serve their clients, as well as being able to integrate the application itself with both traditional financial services companies and new disrupter-type wealth tech companies – looking to offer hyper-customisation to their clients.”
